I was driving back from the Beach this morning (Dec 24, 2011), after a nice walk along the shore line, and decided to stop at Frenchman’s Harbor. Here’s a photo of their front gate, which is under construction.

 The location is fabulous – on the intracoastal, a short distance to the Ocean by boat and by car. Also a short distance to the great restaurants on PGA Blvd. And close to Miami and the Heat!!!

There are three sized homes. The Coastal Collection consists of carriage homes. Each home has its own dock. Prices are roughly between $650,000 and $900,000. See the photo below as the constructions starts for these homes.

The next larger homes are called The Harbour Collection. These single family homes range in size from 3,508 and 4,708 sq ft under air. Prices range from $1,500,00 to $1,700,000. Here’s a photo of one of these homes completed!

The largest homes are found in the Admirals Collection. These single family homes range in size from 4,421 to 6,991 sq ft under air. Prices range from $2.7 Million to $3.2 Million. Their docks jut out into the Intracoastal. Here’s a photo of the first one completed.

If you compare this foto with ones taken earlier in the year, you can see that creating this complex from a swamp area, is quite a task. There are three buildings currently under construction, one of which will be the model!!

Here is a photo that I took in July 2011, standing on the Donald Ross Bridge, looking east over the Frenchman’s Harbor site, with the Juno Beach highrises in the distance, followed by the Atlantic Ocean! It’s been quite a job for Toll Brothers to convert a Preserve on the Intracoastal waterway, to an exquisite village of boat owners!

This photo was also taken from the Donald Ross bridge and shows a lot of activity at the south end of Frenchman’s Harbor. Don’t see any homes as yet. Wait! What’s that over to the East?

Well here’s the proof of the pudding! The first private residence at Frenchman’s Harbor is under construction! Look at my previous posts and you can see a map of the area, and the types and costs of homes that Toll Brothers is building! The construction above looks like it’s taking place on plot 14, 15 or 16.

It’s a fantastic plan!

At one point in northern Palm Beach County, there is a road that runs from I-95 east to the Atlantic Ocean. It’s name is Donald Ross Road. As it meanders along, it becomes the boundary line between Palm Beach Gardens to the south and Jupiter to the north. At its eastern end, you’ll find the coastal town of Juno Beach with its beautiful white beaches. And of course on the way, you will  drive over the Donald Ross bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Intracoastal Waterway also runs north and south a little inland from the Ocean (a mile?). It’s great for boating and there are great homes along its shore with docks!

Here is a photo that I took standing on the Donald Ross bridge looking north.

You can see the homes with their docks to the left, on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway. The preserve is on the right side, on the east coast of the Waterway.

Here is a photo from the same bridge looking south.

As you can see, the area to the east is no longer a preserve. When you boat south from the Donald Ross bridge, you will notice that the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway is under construction. That’s where Toll Brothers is building Frenchman’s Harbor. There will be single family homes and carriage style homes, each and every one with a dock! Just think, you can easily boat down the Intracoastal, in this calm waterway, and visit the great restaurants at the PGA bridge. Or you can boat north, and go through the Jupiter Inlet to the Ocean and head over to the Bahamas.
